It's about deciding what level of service the user should experience from their system, rather than imp ly assuming either 100% or 0%. The interesting thing in the m l context is that slos has most simply been defined - but it can get a little bit more complicated when you get into applications like sorce cod control systems. Andi feel that eslos and the question of monitoring production systems is still being developed.
