Cooperatives: A Vehicle for Social and Democratic Change

Sally Kohn: I'd like to talk about platform cooperatives, but first, let's back up a bit and talk about some of your prior work on cooperatives more generally. For me, it really came out of the previous work I was doing, which was on social movements and resistance movements. Before the focus on cooperatives, I did a book about Occupy Wall Street. She says she saw how this form of doing business had shaped our world in ways that it didn't get credit for.
