I think that one of the things that we've really confused in our modern conversations is the difference between somebody who is not orthodox as a Christian and somebody that you believe is not denominational orthodox. And so there's a certain amount of weight in tossing around heretic because you're essentially assigning your kick them out of the church. The sort of impersonal nature of the internet makes tossing around the word heretic quite easy.
