Our understanding of who we are and how we got here is inextricably bound in these stories about history so it's not an academic matter if we had a very different understanding. If we had that different understanding it's not implausible to think that we'd operate quite differently i mean maybe not you know the people who listen to charlie kirk are probably not going to be exposed to this right the people who love the occupy democrats feed on twitter aren't going to be listening to our conversation but i still think there's plenty of evidence in the real world that it's true, shows up in arguments and shows up in the choices we make to this day yeah.
