The Book of Titus Is a Pastoral Epistle by Paul
The book of titus is one of paul's three pastoral epistles, along with the books of first and second timothy. Paul begins the letter by describing himself and his ministry. Here he speaks of himself as a servant of god, language that he does not use elsewhere. Its purpose is the faith of god's elect and their knowledge of the truth. God has chosen his people and brought them into participation in the life of his son. The intention is that they rise to their full maturity.
