Immune checkpoint inhibitors are drugs that work by overriding those checkpoints, allowing the immune system to see the cancer cells for what they are. CAR T cells is an approach where you can take a killer T cell and engineer it to be a super killer. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
