Is the Combahee River Collective a Reactionary Institution?
I was hoping you might share with us some of your own experiences of identity politics within and outside of the institution. I mean, it's something that I think is really important to register because otherwise it looks like what I'm trying to do is something very pernicious if not downright reactionary. My grandparents emigrated from the western part of, of, north western part of India, which is a state called Gujarat. The current prime minister of India, Narendra Modi, comes from Gujarat. And so I have a good sense of where this, you know, where this government is coming from in some sense as a result of that.
