The Diagnostic Criteria for GCA
Giant cell arthritis can have very vague symptoms. These are patients that we really need to keep on our radar, not only for a headache presentation or an older person. Dr. Baskind: I think what you don't want to do is not order an ESR and CRP in an older patient with a headache and miss GCA.
