How Do You Measure Performance in the Private Markets?
You don't know the ultimate performance until that fund is finished. So you have to look for evidence of progress being made in a portfolio. But i think the overall body of evidence would show that the private markets are delivering an excess rate of return overcall to three, five, ten year, even 20 year period of time.
