I don't even know any dedicated steelhead fishermen that expect to have any real good success in that kind of water. So my expectations are very low when I have the kind of water we're talking about. And like you said, I've had days where there were ice balls forming around my flies. To me, that's impossible. You're no longer presenting a fly. You're presenting like a ball of ice. Yes. But for some of them, I feel like it is unavoidable. If you want to get into it, you kind of just have to deal with it.
