The Importance of Determinism
People automatically assume, oh, my mental states are being bypassed. I think what's going on there is if you say everything is completely caused in terms of brain states, the natural implication is there's nothing left over for mental states to do. The people will not automatically reject over determinations. But that's not the same as dualism? No. Implicit dualism? I don't think so. Nobody has a theory. We all have our theories, but.
