The Body Is the Essence of Human Existence
The body, for me, is the essence of human existence. It is what we are. And and everything comes from that, including technology,. In the 19 fifties, technology was inhuman stuff from outer space which threatened us. But for me, technology has always been ultra human, a complete extension of what we are - our fist becomes a missile as we throw a rock. So to me, that it's just natural to go there. That m im i'm going, i'm diving into the essence. The film represents accurately the strangeness of being a human being.
