"There is a sort of, I don't know if it's a resurgence, but maybe an insurgents of fascist intellectuals," he says. "We cover broad range subjects and we do crime and scandal and celebrity ... But we try to do so in a way that is ultimately constructive and entertaining and also illuminating about the way that we live." He adds: "It gives me a lot of energy to hear you talk about it in that way because that’s what we're trying to do".
