If a slave kills their master they don't need to prove that any one of them did it because they just execute everybody in the household. There is this real separation between what the people who do not have houses full of slaves feel about the situation. The very elite of the empire see themselves as being significantly more special and important than everyone else. Their sense of safety is considered to be significantly more important than 400 lives. And this is why it's very important to join a union. I think. Yeah.
