The Rise and Fall of Henry IV
Henry IV faced threats throughout his reign. From being one of England's most celebrated tournament nights in Crusaders, he became a king held hostage by rebellions. The most enduring of these problems came from Wales led by the incredible O Englanddoer who we really ought to cover on Gone Made Evil. Prince Henry was sent there to earn his spurs and to learn how to be a soldier. In 1403 at the Battle of Shrewsbury, Henry joined his father's forces to fight the Percy family. He was struck in the face by an arrow during the battle - it was embedded six inches into his face through his cheek. A royal surgeon named John Bradmore was summoned to treat
