The Counter-Cultural Way of Simplicity

A man a lot like us once said to Jesus, how do I get the life that's truly life? If it's my kingdom you want, he said, then casual unchecked consumption is like playing with fire. And if you want the life of Jesus, you have to adopt the lifestyle of Jesus and one of the most overlooked practices of Jesus' life is the counter-cultural way of simplicity. That requires two things, one, a willingness to simplify and two, relationship with someone who's needy.
