What Is an Electrolyzer?
An electrolyzer is a piece of equipment that separates water and electricity into two gases, hydrogen and oxygen. It's a way to produce hydrogen gas without any sort of residual carbon leaving the system. So it starts with a carbon-free source of hydrogen, water, and ends up with a hydrogen product that can be considered zero carbon emissions depending on the electricity source.
