You want to have the weight of the evidence in your favor, but you don't want the weight to be too heavy. I always make this point that everyone always says you never want to catch a falling knife, but the reality is the biggest returns come at the turn. By using very careful risk and money management, you can take smaller positions in the stocks that are a bit like catching a falling knife. And over time, you'll find that the trades with a stronger evidence are more reliable because they've got that strong evidence.
