Do You Have a Preferred Parent?

If you have a child who strongly is preferring one parent over the other, first you want to stay at home. Overreacting will start a power struggle. Brainstorm ways that both parties can get their needs met. Support your partner and the household rather than keeping track of who did what, when. You both need to be active participants in child rearing, discipline, play, feeding, supporting the family and appreciating each other's efforts.
