The Importance of Senior Instructor Pilots in the Apache Community

Warrant officers in the Apache community, it used to be that you were you were rated as one cedar another because the two seats were so different before the long bow came out. You want a really senior, worn officer like Al to be able to take that lieutenant under his wing or her wing and then teach them how to fight the aircraft. As a platoon leader, you'd have four other Apaches in your attack by fire position. And so if you're the scout platoon leader,you're calling a lot of times I'd be calling the indirect fire or talking with Cass.
