The major power is now increasingly using LiDAR equipped satellites capable of mapping out an indoor room like a bunker or building as well as how many people are inside. The state of the art this idea of getting at indoors and underground is really becoming a hot topic being able to image and derive three dimensional data from imaging but it's really about the fusion of lots of different types of data.
