I feel bad for Asaf. I know that's not always such a traditional perspective, but it feels like you could definitely hold Asaf to account and say he should have had a longer time horizon. There's another way in which you can kind of see the failure of Asaf to develop beyond the brute as a function of his father's rewarding, rewarding of him for that.
