If you weren't involved in politics and serving as attorney general, what would you be doing with your life? I would probably be trying to do something in the firearms world. The fear of ever failing is what motivates them to succeed. You definitely learn from that agony of defeat. There's no better teacher than failure. We're we're under attack constantly. It almost feels biblical.
