The chief deputy told the paper that though his office searched via horses, jeeps, and even a helicopter in the dense woods, no evidence was found. A former reporter who'd covered the story at the time said she was sure that the family had experienced something,. whether it was a Grassman? Well, she couldn't say. But she believed they'd seen something strange.
