A lot of the really formal, ceremonial magic am in the middle ages was actually practised by the catholic clergy. In fact, iis, you know, this type of thing was fairly common up through the renaissance. Ye? No. It's funny when you read about, like, the inquisition, and it's like, oh, yes, no, they said they were summoning demons and kept causing problems for the city, so we had to kill them. And I would say that things were a lot more complicated than we realize to day,. is what i would say, yes, absolutely.
