How to Maximize Your Networking Efforts During Economic Times
You'll send two emails to two people in two different firms at the same time. The email should basically just say one line about you, a couple of fun facts and then would you be available to talk at 2.15 p.m. on Friday? Fridays like the down day, right? You don't ever have client meetings on Friday afternoon. And so Friday afternoons are often a really good time to connect for recruiting. What you're asking for is a 15 minute conversation. After talking to me today, would you feel comfortable referring me to a position? That's a that's the magic wording actually.
