The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 got rid of measures that barred Asians from becoming U.S. citizens. Big says he's been back to Hart Mountain, seventeen times or so. There's a historical center there now called the Hart Mountain interpretive center. It's a place to honor and remember the people who were held there.
