How Did the Church End Up Having Such a Big Presence in Japan?
In the late 1950s, soon after its founding in South Korea, moon seeks contacts and entry into Japan. So basically anything that is against their versions of strong man domination and they brand them as communists. You know, they still talk about anti-communism and they, in fact these days they particularly target feminists as communists. And it doesn't matter whether they are actually communists or not. The fact that they are in the church's view, anti-family, working on the destruction of the traditional family, the patriarchy, that's enough of an offence to be labeled as communism.
