The idea of two different votes is kind of confusing to me too. I still don't fully get with these electors. They're not legally required to vote in the direction of the popular vote. So we just what put our faith in them like they're untouchable. There are these paragons of like morality. How do you become an elector? It's, it's, I'm sure somebody's friend. Yeah. Someone's friend who does friends for their friend. Exactly. The the Halcyon days of a US that never existed. And so he had a Hayes had 185 electoral votes. Tilden had 184 for a fellow ridiculous historians who are not in the US.
