Why the Fed Shouldn't Rake Rates to 10%

If interest rate is at 10%, the government will borrow less money because it's incentivized to borrow less money. A lot of this is locked in and gridlocked, so whether rates are 0% or 10%. The Fed can't do QT for the next three years. They can't raise rates to 10%. There's all sorts of things they can't do. Meanwhile, those fiscal depths are still flowing.
