I actually use Pinterest quite a bit. Not just for mood boards mostly because when I started doing torn a lot of it is based on like 18th century England and France so I was like researching actual historical crap. With Pinterest you can get an image you can put the vitals in in the description to keep track of things later. World anvil asks a lot of really good questions about your world and how it is set up but also does have the timeline functionality that you just talked about very similar to that. It's kind of like an all-in-one place kind of deal i've been having fun with it.
