The 90 90 Rule: 90% of the Time It Takes to Do a Task

Quitting is, I think a valid option for death marches. It's typically the ideal one. The last 10% of a task takes 90% of the time. If you don't make it, you're going to die and you know, you're not going to make it. And even if you do put in the time when it does launch, it's going to be a crap fest.
