The US-Australia Relationship Is a Mixed Palette

US President Lyndon Baines Johnson made a three day visit to Australia in 1966. He was the first city US president to visit Australia and attended the funeral of Prime Minister Harold Holt, who died in office after going swimming or diving in rough seas. The presidents who have visited Australia have been LBJ, Bush senior, Bill Clinton, Bush junior and Barack Obama.
