Strategic Thinking - Intuition vs Control Thinking

In a military setting, sometimes decisions have to be made very quickly. And you don't get a chance to do the analytic slow thinking that we talk about on this show. So I wonder if you thought about anything like that in terms of trained expertise. Gary Klein isn't another psychologist who he did a paper with Daniel Kahneman because they were both coming from completely different points of view. He believes in the power of intuition, but not seeing intuition as some magical thing that connects somehow with the cosmos and delivers a wonderful answer to us.
