The Political Right's Tilting of Paranoia

I think a lot of people would probably agree that right now it seems like there's a lot of conspiracy thinking in paranoia coming from what appears to be the political right in the United States. And I have one friend who was at least for a while and to, or opened, let's say treated the birther stuff with more respect than it deserved. He wasn't one of the fear of the foreign people, but he was someone who was strongly opposed to Barack Obama. And I think this fit into, I mean, for on policy grounds, and it sort of fit into his ideas about what wouldn't this be good, you know?
