Transpobe or Repentant Allies?

A lot of derrick's mess has been on twitter. It's an extra step to diale that back, because if you outgrow those beliefs, you have to publicly dial back what you've said and apologize. He's put himself in a position where he is either a transpobe or a repentant ally. And maybe he's outgrown being a transphobe, but he's not ready to be a repentants ally. So he is stuck with what he said like four years ago.
