Are We Going Through the Industrial Age?
As the population grows and becomes more productive, there's this pressure to move towards a more distributed government system. The counter force to that would be something like the central bank or fiot currency which allows those few to start harvesting that economic surplus back off the total economy. And i think that's what's happened in the us. I think you could say that one of the reasons we were able to end slavery was not that human beings suddenly became more humane but it was technological process.
