The thing that's interesting about this move is its, even though there is a lot of sacra and sentimentality, still doesn't really work. It's probably the meanest movie that he ever mades,. Probably the nastiest, most viceral, most intense movie that heEver made. And it really makes you want to see him lean into that more.
