The Supreme Court's Use of Speech Doctrine to Invalidate an Anti-Discrimination Law
In 303 Creative Case, a woman wanted to avoid designing a website for a same-sex couple based on her religious objections. The court took certiorari on this case but explicitly did not pick up the religious freedom question and instead said it would only answer whether or not compliance with Colorado's anti-discrimination law was required. John Avlon: It continues a pronounced trend of solicitedness for the religious beliefs of at least some religious groups.
