The Autopoetics of Freud's Writing
There's always a kind of sense of something alive at the heart of it which means that you can endlessly use these texts. I don't think there's this hard line between the hard sciences and the humanities let's say but I also don't think that he's wrong like I think that for the most important text they do illuminate each other in part. What it means to be a part of a textual tradition is somehow extra textual. To deeply understand what was going on in let's say Freud is to have something beyond what is contained in any of the texts.
