The Dismantling of the Alliator of Chance Operations
I was blown away by what I found to be almost the clinical cruelty of the dismantling of the alliator of chance operations. It's like somebody who executes an act of allegorical annihilation of the pretension that painting provides freedom. That makes it also so interesting to see him perform in the film for example, what a pick as he just described. There's these moments he takes the squeegee down, he steps back. And then he goes in and does that thing where he kind of attacks the painting. So he negates the very inherent dynamics of gestural painting at all times.
