Introduction
US Senator Bob Menendez has called on the US Consumer Product Safety Commission to take aggressive action to protect beachgoers from being impaled by flying beach umbrellas. About 3,000 people per year have suffered, quote, umbrella related injuries. This just brings me back around to the same tired observation I always have. Almost nothing good comes out of New Jersey.
