The Role of the Assistant Editor in C.Ville
One of the biggest roles of the assistant editor and the first is often delegating all these extra tasks that are trying to help the editor enhance their cut. And I was lucky enough when I was a second to be given a lot of those tasks and really try and enhance my skills at that so that I was as diversely able to help everybody out as possible. So oftentimes we're doing temp music, then we do temp sound. And then lastly, we're trying to do temporary effects, whether it's something as simple as so there's a green screen in that window,. You know, there's some easy ones and there's some more complicated ones.
