A couple of scientists have declared that it might very well be possible that all human beings have the same two ancestors. And they go a little further and say that nine out of every 10 animal species are also descended from a single pair. Now, I don't know if it's true or not. They're not a couple of quacks who decided to publish something. Whether they come to be right or not, it's worth thinking about. The broader implications here are fascinating.
