Calvinists Don't Believe That Faith in God Causes Regeneration
Calvinists have over alized the idiomotic use of the word deadness in scripture to mean corpse like inability to respond to god's life giving truth. This is never established in the pages of scripture. Even good calvinistic exegetes and commentators don't interpret that letter to the church of sardis to mean that the people are morally incapable of responding. Why? Because they are in rebellion. They are living carnally. Their living separate from god. And what o they need to do? They need repent of that so as to be reconciled, to be brought near to him. So imonto go and bring this to a close.
