The Value of Gold
Bitcoin is presented to us as a kind of, well, gold for the modern world or gold for the internet. I don't want to get into a full explanation as to how Bitcoin works. I can say this, I own some and based on what I've learned about it, I intend to own more. Now you can use it to acquire other things that are extrinsically valuable, like a car, whatever,. Or you can use It in the way that we're encouraged to use Extrinsically Valuable Things (EVP) EVP: What makes things that are not intrinsically valuable worth anything at all? And why should they be valued any differently than others?
