Money was always a driving force in our lives, and not just the lack of it, but because of what she and her grandmother were able to do with the little bit that they had. My mamma eventually went on, after working minimum wase jobs, to eventually get her master's degree. So i learned about saving and budgeting from them, not that they had an option. They really had so little to work with that they, they, they made what they had worked. That's like a through line for me and how i talk about money and freedom,. Because i realize that, you know, you can actually achieve it without having all the money in the world."
