In the parable, jesus says that god speaks to him and says, fool. What's he a fool? He's stored his stuff in the wrong warehouse. And so all this work you did, where's it go? It's gone like a vapour. That is your life. All the wealth and possessions you store up in this life are gone. They last into eternity. You can't take it with you, as they say. The one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich towards that's the big difference maker. If you spend all your days hustling to gain financial independence and retire early, what is that to you? You're going to die
