In the Gita Shloka, it is a description of Samadhi and benefits which arise from Samadhi. It's not a new kind of blissful experience. And also I keep repeating, yes the mind will be surcharge which will be radiated with peace and bliss. That is also there. But that's the mind. The Krishna is teaching meditation and this is the culmination of meditation, meditation on the self, Atman.
