The Importance of Transplanting a Language

I have taken a conlang that was meant for one world and transplanted it into another world. I don't know if it would necessarily work in all cases because you know sometimes it's dependent on all the other languages  in this these particular cases it sorted itself out but it's interesting to me to say like oh um it's it seems like a very you know very much the advice of kill your darlings for writing where if something doesn't fit you throw out the work that you did or at least you know put itPut it somewhere else and don't actually use it in the original work right?
